About Dana

Dana Mastropieri is the Founder and Chief Partner of Innovative Talent Partners, a retained executive search firm built on a simple belief: the best search partners earn trust through transparency, accountability and true partnership.
For more than 25 years, Dana led Talent Acquisition for some of the country's most recognized healthcare, technology, and travel organizations, partnering with executives to build leadership teams, scale organizations, and navigate periods of rapid growth, transformation, mergers, and acquisitions. She understands the pressures hiring leaders experience because she's been responsible for making those decisions herself.
Throughout her career, Dana became known not only for building high-performing talent acquisition teams, but for approaching recruiting differently. Rather than relying on job descriptions or traditional talent pools, she built creative sourcing strategies that uncovered exceptional candidates others overlooked. She believes great hiring starts with understanding the business, the leader, and the team, not just the role. Skills matter, but long-term success often comes down to leadership style, adaptability, curiosity, and company fit.
One of Dana's proudest accomplishments was leading Talent Acquisition for a private equity-backed healthcare organization as it grew from 24 locations and approximately 900 employees to more than 350 locations and over 11,500 employees. Her experience spans startup environments, private equity-backed organizations, and established enterprises, giving her a practical understanding of how hiring strategy evolves at every stage of growth.
Dana founded Innovative Talent Partners to bring the transparency, partnership, creativity, and accountability she always expected from an external search firm. Today, she partners with organizations seeking Director through Executive-level talent, combining the strategic insight of an experienced Talent Acquisition executive with an innovative approach to identifying leaders who may not be obvious on paper but prove to be transformative in practice. Her philosophy is simple: the best executive searches don't just fill positions, they build leadership teams that change businesses.
